Viscor Vice President & General Manager Tony Di Matteo was fêted recently at Viscor for his 38-year contribution to the company’s success.

As reported by Daniela De Marco, Electro-Federation Canada’s Marketing Communications Coordinator, Tony entered the electrical industry as a student during the summers, working in the factory alongside his father at Viscor, formerly Wiener Electric, then Visioneering.

In 1981, Tony began working full time for the company in an entry-level position, where he developed the skills and expertise that eventually led him to be Viscor’s Vice President & General Manager. Tony’s growth was the result of hard work, finding mentors to learn from, and building strong relationships with people at all levels within the organization and across the industry.

This experience has made Tony an advocate of giving back by building people’s strengths through mentorship.
