The tenth edition of Le Salon Lumen occurred on April 17 at Centre de Foires in Quebec City, QC and on April 19 at Palais des congrès in Montreal, QC.

Customers, vendors and students all attended the industry-leading event to witness the latest electrical industry innovations. Over 6,000 visitors were in attendance and 175 vendors were showcased.

“We started Le Salon Lumen in 2002 as a celebration for Lumen’s 40th anniversary,” says Lumen President Serge Le Blanc. “Today this event is the largest and most technological tradeshow within the electrical and automation industry in Quebec. We’re constantly trying to showcase new products and overall display what Lumen has to offer.”

Le Salon Lumen provided training classes and featured booths centred around eCommerce. “We’re making sure everyone understands the impact of eCommerce,” says Lumen’s Director of eCommerce, Rudy Abitbol. “This year we are talking to customers and explaining to them the added value of a digital transformation.”

“All the work we put into executing an event of this magnitude, is dedicated to our customers,” says Serge. “Our suppliers get the opportunity to demonstrate the evolution of their products and we all get the opportunity to grow together.”

The 2018 Salon Lumen was a complete success. With its unique ability to connect the business, this biennial event continues to support why Lumen is a leader in the electrical industry.
