Service Wire Company has acquired land with plans to build a new manufacturing and distribution facility. This reinvestment will position Service Wire to continue offering the finest quality American manufactured wire and cable products in the Gulf Coast and surrounding markets.

Service Wire has remained steadfast in the company’s commitment to the region and their customers despite the periodic downturns in the market, explained Louis Weisberg, President.

“We’ve been a staple in the region for more than four decades, and our new, modern facility in Generation Park will allow us to continue to meet the needs of the growing south and southwest,” said Weisberg. “This modern facility will be a launchpad for our next 50 years and beyond, enhancing our industry-leading service levels.”

“Since 1968, we’ve been committed to best-in-class performance and maintaining our founding cornerstones of safety, quality, technology, and service,” elaborated Chuck Oldaker, Executive Vice President and CFO.

Generation Park is approximately 13 miles northeast of the company’s current location. The new facility will allow for unimpeded access to all of Houston’s major transportation corridors, allowing products and people to move with ease.

“We’re excited to welcome Service Wire Company to Generation Park,” said Ryan McCord, President of McCord Development. “The move to the Lake Houston region will give Service Wire employees access to Generation Park’s lifestyle district (Redemption Square), great schools and neighborhoods, while allowing the company to continue to grow into the future.”
