Leviton Announces Organizational Changes for Their Lighting Business in Canada

Leviton has announced the appointment of Viscor Inc., a Leviton company, to serve as the lighting headquarters in Toronto, Ontario for Leviton Lighting Canada.

Pierre Legare, executive vice president of Viscor will lead the Leviton Lighting business unit for all customer activities in Canada. Legare is tasked with the continuing growth for each of the four lighting brands – Viscor, Birchwood Lighting, ConTech Lighting, and Intense Lighting in Canada. In addition to his new role, Legare will maintain his existing responsibilities for Viscor sales in the U.S.

“Viscor has more than 65 years of experience and growth in the Canadian lighting industry and is in an ideal position to serve as the Canadian Lighting Headquarters for all the Leviton lighting brands,” says Viscor’s Executive Vice-President, Pierre Legare.

In addition, Leviton announced that FX Morin, has been appointed as Eastern Region Director of Sales and will report to Legare. Morin who was previously head of sales for Leviton Lighting Canada, will now be responsible for the Viscor brand that has been added to the existing Leviton lighting brands namely ConTech, Birchwood and Intense.
