LEDVANCE Announce Eastern Distribution Center Closure

CEW 2 CS Ledvance 400

March 27, 2020

LEDVANCE has announced the closure of their Eastern Distribution centre located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and move its operations to their Versailles, Kentucky facility. Matt McCarron, Vice President of US and Canada Salesreleased the following statement:

In order to better serve our customers, LEDVANCE continuously looks at maximizing our business processes. As part of that effort, we have recently reviewed our supply chain in order to find synergies that will better service our customers.  Working with industry leading experts and distribution network is in the best interest of our customers, and our ability to maintain or improve our service levels.

As part of this consolidation decision we will move our Eastern Distribution Center (EDC) located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, into our Versailles, Kentucky facility. Due to the close proximity of these 2 warehouses our analysis shows that we can service our customers as good or better than we do today by having all the material in a single location.

The Bethlehem facility will cease operations by July 1, 2020 at which time our Midwest Distribution Center in Versailles, Kentucky and Western Distribution Center in Ontario, California will serve as our primary locations.

Meeting the needs of our customer is our main priority.  Customer orders previously fulfilled out of Bethlehem will be handled out of Kentucky.  For customers who pick up orders directly at Bethlehem, you will be contacted by our team regarding the transition plan.

Should you have questions, please contact your LEDVANCE account representative.  Thank you for your partnership.
