Graybar Canada’s Markham Branch Certified as ISO 9001:2008

Graybar Canada’s Markham Branch has demonstrated their assurance to customers of providing top-quality products and service by earning certification of the Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008.

“The needs and requirements of our customers come first,” says Geoff Reid, Branch Manager. “Becoming ISO 9001:2008 certified is another step in showing our commitment to effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.”

The ISO 9001:2008 standard is based on multiple quality management principles such as continual improvement, a strong customer focus, and the motivation and commitment of top management. It establishes and streamlines processes through complete documentation and greatly increases operational efficiency.

Graybar Canada’s Markham Branch will now be able to fulfill this requisite for customers that have adopted requirements for certification. Graybar Canada’s internal Quality Management System defines the policies and procedures used throughout Graybar Canada to ensure the products and services sold, meet both the specified customer requirements and the business objectives in a consistent, economical, and reliable manner.

The branch is located at 2750 John St., Markham, ON L3R 2W4; 905-752-0767.
