Electrozad Achieves Canada’s Best Managed Companies Platinum Status

May 30, 2024

Electrozad was recently recognized for its incredible performance and its sustained growth, achieving Platinum Club status with the Canada’s Best Managed Companies program by retaining its Best Managed designation for seven consecutive years.

Celebrating over 30 years, Canada’s Best Managed Companies program awards excellence in private Canadian-owned companies with revenues of $50 million or greater. To attain the designation, companies are evaluated on their leadership in the areas of strategy, culture and commitment, capabilities, and innovation, governance and financial performance.

“This achievement cannot be understated,” said James Taylor, Vice President Sales and Operations, Electrozad. “We strive to foster a positive culture and provide a supportive environment for our employees to flourish. Our company values of investing in our people and excellence in customer service have helped us achieve the esteemed Platinum Club status in 2024. Our success is a result of the collective efforts of our hardworking team and the loyal customers who trust us to keep their operations running smoothly.”

Canada’s Best Managed Companies is one of the country’s biggest business awards programs recognizing innovative and world-class businesses. Every year, hundreds of entrepreneurial companies compete for this designation in a rigorous and independent evaluation process. Applicants are evaluated by an independent panel of judges with representation from program sponsors and special guests.

Electrozad is an electrical and automation distributor in Southwestern Ontario, supporting the commercial, industrial, and automation industries for over 68 years. With a vision to deliver the best electrical and automation products, services, and expertise, Electrozad remains a trusted solutions partner with established branches in Chatham, London, Sarnia, and Windsor. “Our strategic plans and focus on growth continue to be a driving force that propels our company forward,” said James Taylor. “We set ambitious goals, harnessed the expertise of our people, and I could not be more pleased at the level of growth we’ve achieved. Celebrating Platinum status is a great honour and a testament to the commitment we have in exceeding even our own expectations.”

The 2024 cohort of Best Managed companies share common themes such as having a people centric culture, targeting effective ESG strategies, and accelerating operational digitization. “To become a Best Managed Platinum Club winner is nothing short of remarkable. Their continued adaptability in an era of uncertainty sets the standard for how to overcome new barriers and demonstrate resiliency at the highest levels,” said Derrick Dempster, Partner, Deloitte Private and Co-Leader, Canada’s Best Managed Companies program. “These companies truly impact how Canada is viewed on the world stage when it comes to the success of private business.”
