Charles A. Cipolla Receives Electro-Federation Canada’s 2014 Industry Recognition Award

Electro-Federation Canada (EFC) presented its 2014 Industry Recognition Award to Charles A. Cipolla during the EFC’s Annual General Meeting on April 16.

With a stellar career in the electrical industry, Cipolla continues in senior roles as Chair, Electrical Safety Authority, Chair of the Board for the Gore Mutual Insurance Company and the Cambridge and North Dumfries Hydro. His involvement also has included the Kiwanis Club, Cambridge Chamber of Commerce, and Institute of Chartered Accountants for Ontario.

Employed in many senior positions at Rockwell Automation Canada (formerly Allen-Bradley Canada Limited) including President, during his tenure the organization was named as one of the 35 Best Companies to Work For in Canada. Cipolla has been actively engaged in the Canadian electrical market for his entire career. He was also EFC Chair (2001-2002), member of the Executive Committee and also served as Treasurer and Chair of the Electrical & Electronic Manufacturers Association Committee.

Electro-Federation Canada’s Industry Recognition Award (IRA) is presented annually to an individual who has influenced the Canadian electrical and/or electronics industries, either as a current or retired industry delegate, or as an industry supporter. IRA award recipients demonstrate strong leadership through their personal and professional industry involvement and symbolize dedication, balance, and achievement in regional, national and/or community activities.
