Brady Receives Boeing Performance Excellence Award

Boeing Award

Industrial and safety printing systems and solutions provider Brady has received a fourth consecutive Silver Boeing Performance Excellence Award for its aerospace industry solutions. Brady is one of only 402 suppliers for 2016 to receive Silver level recognition, based on delivery and quality performance criteria.

“Earning this recognition not only highlights Brady’s overall performance excellence but also underscores our ongoing customer commitment and the efforts of our teams,” says Brad Williams, Strategic Accounts Manager, ADM for Brady. “With a long-standing partnership with Boeing, we continually work to improve processes and deliver solutions that support the success of Boeing’s commercial aerospace business.”

Brady products supplied to Boeing include print-on-demand systems and high-performance label materials. These products help maintenance crews more quickly identify areas that need attention in order to get the aircraft back in the air as soon as possible.

Boeing uses their own internal supplier performance measurement tool to continually monitor their suppliers’ performance in terms of quality and delivery. Silver threshold is defined as “very good supplier performance, meeting or exceeding expectations” with delivery efficiency of 98% and quality performance of 99.8% for a 12-month period. Brady maintained a Silver composite performance rating for each month from October 1, 2015 to September 30, 2016.
