AD Member Sales Grow 15% to $23B in First Half of 2019

The member owned contractor and industrial products wholesale buying/marketing group, AD has reported a 15% increase in member sales, across 12 AD divisions in 9 industries, totaling $23 Billion through the first six months of 2019.

On a same store basis, by business unit, six-month PHCP sales were up 5%; Industrial/PT sales were up 4%; Electrical sales were up 2%; and Building Materials was up 2%. By country, same store sales in the US grew 4%; Canada was up 4% and Mexico decreased 7%.

“2019 is running well ahead of plan and previous year for us. AD’s diversity in market segments, countries and industries is serving us well. Although we’ve been the largest group in member sales for some time now, it’s been extremely gratifying to have over 200 new members join us in 2019, as well 200 new supplier partners,” AD CEO, Bill Weisberg said of the results,
