AD Building Supplies – Canada Member, Crown Building Supplies, Celebrates Eighth Anniversary

September 21, 2022

For AD Building Supplies – Canada member, Crown Building Supplies, 2022 marks the milestone of eight years in business serving British Columbia’s construction sector. The organization celebrated this achievement with clients, partners, vendors, and friends during Crown Building Supplies’ annual customer appreciation barbeque on August 19, 2022—hosting over 500 individuals on its expansive 2.5-acre property in Surrey, BC.

Joining AD through the organization’s merger with TORBSA in July of 2022, Crown Building Supplies has quickly become a highly engaged member within the AD community. The company’s CEO, Gary Sangha, serves as AD Building Supplies – Canada’s chairperson, contributing his veteran knowledge and intricate industry experience to help AD’s newest division prosper further, reaching even greater heights.

Despite being in business just eight years, Crown Building Supplies has expanded significantly in every sense of the term—in physical form, in sales, and in heart. Today, Crown Building Supplies calls its spacious 40,000 square foot office space and warehouse, ‘home’—which is twice the size of the space the organization began in in 2014. In order to meet its ever-growing customer demand, Crown Building Supplies has also leveraged a unique feature of its spacious lot—a train track conveniently located right on the property itself, opening up an additional avenue to receive stock for swifter turnaround and delivery times.

When asked what factors Crown Building Supplies attributes its widespread, rapid success to, CEO Gary Sangha credited the company’s dedicated staff, which has grown to top over 100 individuals.

“Crown Building Supplies was built on the fundamental principle of exceptional customer service—and our team delivers on that day in and day out,” relayed Sangha. “Through fostering relationships based on honestly and trust, we have been able to build a vast roster of loyal clients. I hold an incredible amount of appreciation for Crown Building Supplies’ talented team, for it is their commitment and dedication to the experience of our clients at every touch point, that has made our organization so successful.”

Vice President, AD Building Supplies – Canada Paul Williams spoke on the successful partnership between AD and Crown Building Supplies since the transition from TORBSA.

“Crown Building Supplies is truly a world-class organization—Gary and Jas Sangha have built something very special,” said Williams. “We are elated to have them on board and all-in with AD, and we look forward to helping the organization further thrive through our dynamic group’s best-in-class supplier partners along with a myriad of top financial, networking, and programmatic benefits. We believe the sky is the limit for Crown Building Supplies!”
