Pete Horton of Legrand Named to the CABA Board of Directors

The Continental Automated Buildings Association (CABA) Board has announced the appointment of Pete Horton, Vice President, Market Development at Legrand, North and Central America, Electrical Wiring Systems (EWS) division. Legrand is a global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructures. CABA is an international nonprofit industry association that provides information, education, and networking to promote advanced technologies for the automation of homes and buildings.
“After 20 years of participating in and consuming CABA Research, I am excited to be working with the organization and its Board members to deliver cutting-edge research on the built environment,” said Horton regarding his new role with CABA.
Horton is currently responsible for driving IoT innovation within the EWS Division at Legrand. Previously, he served as Vice President of the WattStopper business unit within Legrand’s Building Controls Systems division. Prior to that, he was the Lighting Control Marketing Manager for Legrand in Europe. In 1985, he cofounded Horton Controls Inc, a software technology provider acquired by Legrand in 2000. Horton currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Haystack Organization and is the Legrand Board Alternate with the Zigbee Alliance.
