OmniCable’s Chip Barrett Promoted to Vice President of Supply Chain and Business Development

OmniCable has announced the promotion of Chip Barrett to Vice President of Supply Chain and Business Development. In this role, Barrett is responsible for OmniCable’s Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Business Development departments. 

Barrett joined OmniCable in late 2017 as Director of Business Development. During his first year with the company, he successfully led the implementation and expansion of the company’s product initiatives and developed additional vendor partnerships. “At OmniCable, we strive to deliver the highest quality and service for our customers,” said Barrett. “We are focusing on growing with existing vendors as well as expanding our product offerings so that our customers can succeed in the marketplace.”

“Chip has a wealth of management experience in the wire and cable industry,” said Greg Donato, OmniCable’s Chief Operating Officer (COO).  Prior to OmniCable, Barrett was employed at General Cable for 12 years with the first eight years in the US managing the P&L’s of the Electronics, Datacom, and Broadcast business units and the last four in Europe managing the European Supply Chain of Spain, Portugal, and France.
