Schneider Electric Appoints Hugo Lafontaine as National Sales Manager, Building Automation Systems, Canada

Based in Ottawa, Lafontaine will be responsible for building on Schneider Electric’s reputation as a recognized authority and leader in efficient buildings in the Canadian market.

 Lafontaine brings more than 15 years of experience and knowledge in building control systems to his new position.

Previously he was Sales Director at Regulvar Canada Inc., where he established a track record for growing the company’s business in the Quebec and Ottawa region. Prior to that, he held several progressively senior positions at Regulvar.

Lafontaine has a Bachelor of Engineering degree with a specialization in management from the University of Ottawa and an Executive MBA from the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa. He has been a member of Professional Engineers Ontario since 2006.
