EFC Appoints New President & CEO

Electro‐Federation Canada (EFC)’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors are pleased to announce the appointment of Carol McGlogan as President & CEO of EFC, effective April 1, 2017. As President & CEO, Carol will lead the association in its efforts to impact, influence and support the electrical industry in Canada. 

Carol is a long‐time supporter of EFC. She has served as past Chair of the EFC Board (2006) and as past Chair of the (former) Supply & Distribution Council (2002). She has also been an active participant on numerous EFC committees. 

Carol most recently served as Director of Marketing at Philips Lighting, where she was responsible for Canadian strategy development and providing input into the North American lighting strategy for all channels and products. 

EFC is pleased to have such an experienced executive lead to further strengthen membership growth, membership value and overall stakeholder relations. 

Jim Taggart will remain at EFC until the end of April and will help support Carol as she transitions into her new role. EFC’s Chair, François Anquetil, Sonepar Canada, is joined by EFC’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee in thanking Jim for his remarkable contribution to EFC for over six years and they wish him all the best in his retirement.
