Panasonic Lighting Americas Hires Director of Business Development ESCO/Retrofit

In his new position as director of business development ESCO/Retrofit, Rommell May is responsible for creating and implementing a suitable strategy for specification of Universal Lighting Technology products in the ESCO/Retrofit channel. 

Rommell will work closely with the sales regional vice presidents, regional sales managers, and field application engineers for a coordinated market approach and with product management to help define the needs for future products. 

He brings many years of experience in working with ESCOs and maintenance contractors, while serving in his previous role for a large energy solutions provider. 

“We are pleased to welcome Rommell to the team and look forward to the opportunities that will result from his support,” says Mark Verheyen, President of Panasonic Lighting Americas. “His background and extensive knowledge from the industry will be a major contribution in taking the company to the next level.” 

Joining the Solutions Business Development division, Rommell will report to Jim Onishi, Senior VP Strategic Business Development, and Mark Verheyen.
