Intertek Warns of Invalid cETLUS Certification Mark on HID Electronic Ballast

Invalid cETLUS Certification Mark on Intertek HID Electronic Ballast

Intertek Testing Services (ETL) advises consumers, retailers and distributors that the HID electronic ballast in the photo bears an invalid cETLus Certification Mark and has not been evaluated by Intertek. It is unknown if this product is in compliance with the applicable safety standard.

The products are easily identifiable as including a 277 V input rating and an ETL mark without a control number adjacent to it. Intertek has verified with the manufacturer that the products of this notice were not produced by them.
