EHRC Receives $292,365 to Help Women Advance in Canada’s Electricity Industry
Electricity Human Resources Canada is receiving $292,365 from the federal government for its 34-month project to develop and test a sustainable mentorship model that will help women advance in the electricity sector. The project will engage women working in the industry, who will identify the barriers to opportunities and advancement, as well as any gaps in programs and services. The organization will work with local colleges, and industry stakeholders including private companies, to develop a mentorship model that will be tested in Ontario and Manitoba.
