EC ChannelVision Poll: Business Confidence

EFC

Each quarter, EFC’s Electrical Council conducts a quarterly business confidence poll with a select group of members. The results from the March 2014 poll are now in.

This quarter shows a significant slow-down in the economy: 46% of respondents saw sales slip, while 1/3 saw sales stay the same. The good news is that in the coming quarter, 60% of respondents see sales going back up to peak in the third quarter, followed by moderate growth in the year ahead. The slow growth and rebound imply our cold winter may have had a damper on the economy, and the spring and summer will pick up the slack.
