2015 EFC Conference a Huge Success

The Annual EFC Conference concluded in Banff, Alberta with over 480 in attendance. The event was a success with informative speakers, industry awards and great networking and events such as the “Ice Castle” Awards Gala Dinner and the Rocky Mountain CEMRA night. EFC members enjoyed golfing at the Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course. 

At the Conference Awards Banquet, the following received recipients were honoured.

EFC Lifetime Honorary Distributor  -Mike Gentile (Philips Lighting)  presented award to Harald Henze (WESCO).

EFC Lifetime Honorary Manufacturer – Bill Hammond (Hammond Power Solutions) presented award to Grant Buchanan (S&C Electric)

NAED/EFC Electrical Industry Education Excellence – Dave Syer (Sonepar Canada) presented award to Joan Waechter (Ideal Supply).

CEMRA Person of the Year Award- accepted by Bruce MacGowan and Cathy MacGowan honouring Barry MacGowan.

NAED Award of Excellence- presented to EFC and accepted by Nathalie Pilon (EFC Chair)

Dave Syer (Sonepar Canada), 2014-2015 National Advisory Council was thanked by incoming 2015-2016 Chair, Murray Chamney (Intralec Electrical Products Ltd.). Dave directed a donation to Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto.
